Weekly video podcast on WebSphere eXtreme Scale forums and customer questions

We decided to make a digg nation style video podcast to discuss customer questions of the week. Minus the beer though :) I separated it out of this blog to allow people to subscribe just to that.

The format is a multi person chat about the issues and talking about the answers. Hopefully, we can keep it to 15 minutes or so once a week. This lets us answer 3 or 4 topics we say during the week.

This is a deck that we use to educate customers on sizing/configuring a grid optimally. This may have a lot of what some people would consider obvious information but it's useful to write it all down regardless.

Video podcast on handling inconsistencies when using WebSphere Extreme Scale

This video podcast covers the issue when an application uses cached data in WebSphere Extreme scale and then a third party application updates that data without going through Extreme Scale. It covers how the inconsistency arises and then how the application must be coded mechanically to deal with the inconsistency. It also covers whether using a database trigger with invalidation messages solves the inconsistency or not.

Video: Introduction to WebSphere eXtreme Scale/ ObjectGrid with patterns and use cases

This is a video pod cast showing 40 or so slides with audio. They cover WebSphere eXtreme Scale or ObjectGrid and outline how the product works, the basic patterns we see employed at customers and some customer scenarios and which patterns apply. It's around 41 minutes long.
